Ordering & Account Help
You can order from desktop or mobile, upload multiple images, preview your selections, and choose delivery or Click & Collect before checkout.
Do I need an account to place an order?+-
No. You can start most Photo Zone orders without creating an account. An account is useful if you want to save projects, revisit uploads, or keep a clearer record of earlier orders.
Can I order prints from my phone?+-
Yes. You can upload and order from a phone, tablet, laptop or desktop. For larger orders, a desktop can make reviewing crops and quantities easier, but mobile ordering works for most everyday print jobs.
Can I reorder the same prints later?+-
If you have an account or order details, reordering can be easier because you can refer back to previous projects or order information. If you need help finding a past order, contact us with the original order number or email address used at checkout.
Uploads, Files & Cropping
JPG, PNG, TIFF, and HEIC are suitable for most online orders. For the most reliable colour, sRGB files are usually the safest option.
What files can I upload for photo printing?+-
For most online orders you can upload JPG, PNG, TIFF, and HEIC files. RAW files should usually be converted before upload. Using sRGB files is often the safest choice for predictable colour.
How large should my image file be?+-
The best file size depends on the print size you choose, but higher-resolution originals usually give the best result. Enlargements, wall art, and tighter crops need more image detail than small everyday prints.
Why does my photo crop in the preview?+-
Prints and gifts use fixed aspect ratios, so images that are a different shape may need to crop. The preview helps you reposition the image before checkout. If too much is being trimmed away, a different size or a custom print may be a better fit.
Can you help with unusual print sizes or old photographs?+-
Yes. Custom prints can help with non-standard frames and creative crops, and our store services also cover options such as scanning, restoration, and other specialist support.
What happens if my image resolution is too low?+-
Low-resolution images can look soft or pixelated when enlarged. If the online preview or warning suggests the file may be too small, choose a smaller print size, upload the original image if you have it, or contact us before ordering if you are unsure.
How do I choose the best print size for my photo?+-
Start with the shape of your photo and where it will be displayed. If the preview crops away important detail, try a different size or use a custom print option so the image fits the frame or space more naturally.
Do you check my files before printing?+-
We do not manually check every online order before production, so please use the preview carefully. If you want us to look at a file, crop or old photo before you order, send it through the contact form with the product and size you have in mind.
Print Finish & Colour Quality
Different products use different aspect ratios, so some images will crop to fit. The preview helps you position the image where it matters most.
What is the difference between glossy and lustre photo prints?+-
Glossy gives brighter contrast and a shinier finish. Lustre has a softer low-sheen surface with less glare, which many customers prefer for framed prints and display areas with stronger lighting.
Can I add a white border to my print?+-
Yes, selected photo print products offer an optional white border. It can help create a cleaner framed look and, in some cases, keep a little more breathing room around the image.
Will my prints look exactly the same as they do on screen?+-
Not always exactly. Screens and printed photos display colour differently, so a small variation is normal. Good-quality original files and standard colour settings such as sRGB usually give the most reliable result.
Delivery, Collection & Support
Standard print orders approved before the 3:30pm cutoff are often processed quickly, with tracked UK delivery usually arriving 1 to 2 working days after dispatch.
How quickly are standard print orders dispatched?+-
Eligible photo print orders approved before 3:30pm Monday to Friday are often processed the same working day. Orders approved later usually move into the next working day’s production plan.
How long does UK delivery usually take?+-
After dispatch, tracked UK delivery is usually 1 to 2 working days for standard orders. Production can take longer for wall art, personalised gifts, and specialist services.
Can I collect my order in store?+-
Yes. Click & Collect is available from our Solihull and Stratford-upon-Avon stores. You can collect once your ready email arrives, which is often quicker than courier delivery for many print jobs.
Do weekends and bank holidays affect turnaround times?+-
Yes. Production timings are based on working days, and both lab processing and courier transit can be affected by weekends, bank holidays, and busier seasonal periods.
Changes, Problems & Specialist Help
If you need to change or check an order, contact us as soon as possible with your order number so we can see whether production has already started.
Can I change or cancel an order after I have placed it?+-
Contact us as soon as possible with your order number. We will always try to help, but once production has started it may not be possible to change a personalised order.
What should I do if my order arrives damaged or incorrect?+-
Please contact us with your order number and clear photos of the item and the outer packaging. That helps us check what happened and resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
Can I leave notes or instructions with my order?+-
If your order needs extra instructions, contact us before or immediately after checkout with your order number. For file checks, unusual crops or old photos, the contact form or email is usually the clearest way to send the details.
